NCRS St. Louis Chapter Events
The St. Louis Chapter of the NCRS hosts many Corvette related events throughout the year. Many events are related to the NCRS judging of the preserved or restored Corvette but, many more are simply driving and enjoying the tradition of America’s Sports Car. Guests are welcome and encouraged to attend at our Chapter events.
Monthly Dinner Meetings
The St. Louis Chapter meets at 6:30 PM on the second Thursday of each month for dinner and Corvette conversation at JJ’s Restaurant, 1215 S. Duchesne Dr., St. Charles, MO 63301.
In addition to our monthly dinner meetings, the St. Louis Chapter hosts a BBQ in conjunction with each chapter judging meet, and an annual Holiday Awards Dinner.
Are you thinking of purchasing a Corvette? Do you have a Corvette and want to learn more about your car? Are you restoring a vintage Corvette and looking for information or resources? Have you studied and learned things about Corvettes that you can share with other enthusiasts? The St. Louis Chapter hosts technical sessions covering a myriad of Corvette related topics from fiberglass and mechanical repair to the restoration of components.
Judging seminars are intended to develop the judging knowledge of NCRS members who volunteer to judge cars at all levels of NCRS judging. NCRS members participating in Chapter judging seminars may earn one NCRS judging point. “Master Judges” must earn a minimum of 100 points through judging seminars and judging experience at chapter, regional and national judging events. The NCRS annually recognizes those Master Judges who have attained 200, 300, 400, and 500 levels. Our Chapter has a growing number of members who have achieved these advanced judging skills.
Road Tours and Garage Tours
St. Louis Chapter members enjoy driving their Corvettes. They may be found caravanning vintage Corvettes through the countryside and on a Mississippi River ferry, touring to a Corvette restoration shop or an enthusiast’s personal garage and collection of cars, a car show in Hannibal, Missouri, and other interesting excursions throughout the year.
Chapter Judging Events
The St. Louis Chapter holds two local NCRS judging events each year; one in the spring and one in the fall. Combined with a BBQ, these events facilitate both a social gathering as well as the judging of vintage Corvettes according to the standards of the NCRS Judging Manuals specific to the year of the Corvette being judged. Owners of cars to be judged must be members of the NCRS but are not required to be members of the St. Louis Chapter. Guests are always welcome and encouraged to attend.
Regional and National Judging Events
The St. Louis Chapter has hosted or co-hosted many regional and national NCRS events over the years including regional judging events and the NCRS National Convention.
Car Shows and Swap Meets
St. Louis Chapter members regularly participate in many local automotive shows and events, including the Horseless Carriage Club of Missouri Easter Concours d’Elegance. Members also band together to attend the Bloomington Gold, Corvettes at Carlisle and Mid America Motorworks Funfest. In addition, Chapter members are always looking for a swap meet in hopes of finding buried Corvette treasure.
